Biography for Gregory Day, CIR, Senior Consultant [ Contact Greg ]

Mr. Day enjoys helping organizations, teams or individuals advance performance and improve results. He has over 20 years of experience in Fortune 500 companies within textiles, paper, commercial products and healthcare industries. His career spans more than 12 years in human resources responsible for employee relations, staffing, compliance, training and organizational development. In addition, Mr. Day has 12 years hands-on production manufacturing. His experience with personnel from across the supply chain; manufacturing, R&D, managerial, sales, marketing, including customer and supplier organizations give him instant credibility with the workforce. He holds a Master of Science in Human Resources Development, Manhattanville College in New York, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. A former participating member of the SHRM Atlanta Chapter, the largest city chapter in the country. He served as Chairperson for the South Atlanta GEM (Geographical Emphasis Meetings) and later Vice President over six GEMs in Marietta, Norcross, Alpharetta, Conyers, Union City and downtown Atlanta, Georgia. Participated as a member of the 2008 North Carolina SHRM Conference Sponsor Committee. Currently, volunteers with the York County SHRM Chapter in South Carolina as the Resource Partner Chair.
